What is it?
A podcast about digital law, privacy, cyber security and tech ethics, et al.
Artificial Discussions is an Australian podcast about digital law, privacy, cyber security, space, science, the ethical use of technology and the politics of technology regulation around the world. The podcast is hosted by Tyler Wright, Principal Lawyer at Artificer Legal, an Australian hybrid law practice and technology consultancy.
We give AI models a seat at the table
Like most podcasts, we will often invite a guest to join us and discuss a topic within their expertise. Unlike most podcasts, we will also invite two AI agents to the discussion to weigh in on the topic after we’ve trained them using a wealth of relevant materials. Not only do you, the audience, get to judge whether AI is taking our jobs, but the guest and presenter will have the opportunity to interrogate, criticise or argue points with, the AI agents.
In theory, this novel dynamic allows AI agents come equipped with very precise recall of relevant facts and commentary, while the guests can offer real world insights to supplement the perfect recall of the AI agents. In reality, we usually discover the limitations of trying to get AI agents to relate to real human experiences, and we uncover the hidden gems of insight that differentiate us from our future AI overlords.
The rules
Script and discussions must be ingested
Guests are given the opportunity to research and script their remarks before coming on the show, and are provided with any focus questions that we will be asking. However, if they do research source materials, those materials must be ingested by the AI agents before they weigh into the discussion. Efforts will be made to ensure the AI agents also have the benefit of prior discussion before they weigh in on the podcast.
